GruppoSole (GsRSI)

The GruppoSole Italia (GsRSI) (Italian Solar Researches Group) is a group of amateur astronomers particularly fond of solar observing techniques and collecting solar data. Originally was called Gruppo Sole Italia (Italy Sun Group), but after 1999 it was re-founded with the actual profile.

Actually GsRSI is involved in:

• Solar data collecting:
  • in white light;
  • in H-alfa light; 
  • in the radio band (particularly detecting SID);
• popular astronomy;

Also we are contributing to many international project with amateur astronomers groups such as AAVSO, BAA, Sonne, UAI, to collect, compare and join observing programs. Data and bulletins are monthly available in this website.
